Darryl was taken, tortured, and abused for a very long time. He had nothing to protect him, he became extremely weak, and depressed. When he was found he was curled up, cold, naked, hungry, and thin. He could hardly stand. He was weak and disabled from the pain. He no longer had anything to live for, and so he gave up.
Darryl most likely was on the verge of becoming crazy. Compared to Marcus Darryl had it ten times worst, Marcus got to leave the jail at one time. He was broken down by the DHS, by the time Marcus found him he was naked in a corner of his cell. Darryl gave up because no one was there for him and by the description of the cell he was in, it was solitary and he couldnt get out.
Darryl wasn't his self because they broke him down and questioned hi And just tortured the crap out of the kid. He must of thought tht he would never get to leave that place and would die there also.
Darryl had been in a dark cell for weeks now. He had been tortured, questioned, and drugged to the max. If I were in darryls shoes, I would have went crazy! He gave up because there was no hope. He wasn't going to be able to get out of the prison alive.
Darryl was treated like an animal. A human can only handle so much torture before they break down. He was sucluded from the world, deprived of food, naked, and left to die. He gave up. He was ready for death. That is how he thought his lasts days were going to be.
Darryl was taken away from everything he new and put in a dark cell for weeks. He was probably givin drugs and and tortured. I could'nt imagine being put through that and he has a right to be like he is.
Van hurt Marcus by telling him that she thought everything he did was a waste. I don't agree with her because whether or not he gets caught at the end of the day he still made a difference. He stood up for what he believed in and people look up to him for that. Marcus gotten caught eating under bridge with Zeb
Darryl isn't himself because he has been tortured by the DHS the longest and has suffered not seeing the outside world and that messed with his mind he gave up because he saw no hope of seeing freedom
Darryl was broken dowwwnnn and he spent too much time in the hands of DHS. He was drugged and confused. he was freakedout because he hasnt left that cell in a long time so i would feel crazy too. he gave up because he lost all his hope of getting out of jail.

ReplyDeleteHe was freaked out. when someone is in a surrounded area to long they tend or can be mentally hurt or ghive up on things that they wouldnt do.
