7 comments:

  1. The theme is that if you know what you're doing then you should fight for your rights.

The ACLU is our nation's guardian of liberty, working daily in courts, legislatures and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties that the Constitution and laws of the United States guarantee everyone in this country. Which include:
    Your First Amendment rights
Your right to equal protection under the law
    Your right to due process
    Your right to privacy

The plan was to launch their own ARG for the September election, and to really tie it in with signing up voters and getting them to the polls. 42 percent of Americans showed up at the polls for the last election -- nonvoters had a huge majority.

  2. "If Mr. Yallow or any other person who has cause to fault the Department of Homeland Security, wants further justice, he is, of course, entitled to sue for such damages as may be owing to him from the federal government." this sentence is explaining how sorry the DHS was in this major time frame And they are willing to be sued if people think the DHS should be punished even harder. " My name is Marcus Yallow. I was tortured by my country, but I still love it here. I'm seventeen years old. I want to grow up in a free country. I want to live in a free country." Marcus is just saying the even though being tortured by the country he lives in he still respects it. And all he was trying to prove was that the united states is a free country and should stay a free country. The theme of the story is the threat of national security are willing to hurt its own innocent people and the determination of a group of people can set the country back into reality. Marcus' job is ironic because it is the same thing that he was doing even before it was an accual job he is now building better wi fi antennas and paranoid x box CDs for sell. ACLU they'd filed motions to get at the results of the closed military tribunals. He is planning on launching an ARG and host it with Ange and was trying to get Van and Darryl.
