  1. Marcus wants to take down the DHS, but Julo belives that the DHS or the cops would punish him more than they would to Marcus, because of his race. He is scared and tells Marcus he's out of trying o bring the DHS down. That he no longer wants to hide from them, he says he will use the Xnet just for games and use the internet like a regular person.
Julo has a valid point, he is aware of the consequences he as a Mexican would recieve. He is already considered suspicious. In today's society; prejudice, racisim, and sexisim does exsist. Many law enforcers do discriminate and tend to be unfair, because o race one can be treated harshly.

  2. Jolu doesnt want to help Marcus because hes afraid of getting caught. and if they get caught they could go back to the prison and it would be worse for him because he is "brown".
In todays world he could have a vailid point because nobody wants to go to jail if they are innocent.

Jolo is afraid of geting caught and going back to jail and he thinks he is going to get in more trouble because he is brown.

yes, because me and my brown people are always getting picked on!

I do believe he has a valid point because jail is a very bad place full of big guys. Plus all of those guys in jail look scary and they all smell really really really bad.

P.S. do you really hate me Mrs. Hannan?

  4. Marcus' plan was to take down the DHS.
Jolu explained that he has a higher chance of being accused of the things they do/did over Marcus. He states that this country is still very racist. Jolu would have a very valid point today. We say today that we arnt racist, but look at the crimes in this country. Who do we look at first? Minorities.

  6. jolu doesnt want to help marcus because its like a suicide mission its almost impossible to win this war. his point in this world no they wouldnt have that much of a problem with DHS. the book is a worst case scenario we shouldnt have to worry about the gov going crazy and taking freedoms away from us.

  7. Marcus wants to make the government think that he and his partners are playing a game but they are really plotting to take down the government.
Jolu thinks that Marcus is over-reacting about everything and while Jolu wants to get even, Marcus wants to completely destroy the government.
Yes, Jolu has a valid point. He doesn't want to destroy something useful to the government, he just wants to make them feel as vulnerable as he did when he was kidnapped.
No, because in today's world, I don't think anything like this would happen. If it did, we wouldn't have computer nerds to try and hack the system.

  8. Marcus plans consist of taking down DHS.Jolu doesnt want to help him no more due to of his color(brown).Yes because most brown ,blacks, well colored people are first to be looked at for any crimes..Yes he would have a valid point because im black and at home i am always blamed first!Just kidding but in today's society we often conclude that a colored person did the crime.

  9. Marcus has conjured up a brliliant plan in taking down the DHS by having a big party with other Xbox gamers. He thinks that he will be able to get away with this by large numbers of people because the police will just tell them to go home eventually.Jolu thinks that his plan will fail and they will get caught and go back into hands of DHS.In the present day his plan would probably fail because we have a batter than how it was 8 years ago.

  10. Marcus throws a party full of other xnetters with an alterier motive to bring down the DHS ! He has actual yield that the police will just tell them to go home if they wait long enough and have numerous people bring questioned and suspected while on the other hand Jolu is concerned that his plan will crash and burn. Jolu has fear that they will be caught and be worse off than before . Jolu has valid reasoning yes but sometimes you have to die trying if you know what's right ! In our present day he most likely would have been caught by now because we have progressed on security and technology but if the law was to be smarter and look at the details and what was really going on then they would figure out that Marcus was not truly a threat just an intense gamer with amazing intelligence .

  11. Marcus wants to get revenge on the DHS. He feels they strip you of your rights. The very rights the U.S. constitution upholds. Although Julo agreees, he lives in fear. He is tiered of hiding and tells Marcus he is just going to use the Xnet for free games. Julo belives that the police already find him suspicious becasue of his race. For that too he is scared and wants out of Marcus plan. Julo has a point, and in todays society especially. Many people still belive other races to be inferior and they use their profession such as a police man as a form of hiarchy.

  12. He is resentful for the way the DHS defiled his rights. He plans on taking them down,& Julo doesnt want to because they are already suspicious. Marcus is white and he wouldnt be randomly selected to be investigated. Julo does have a valid point,in today's society people are still racist.

  13. Jolu says he has a higher chance of being caught and probly would faced harder charges if so. Yes this is a valid point because of in todays time police look do bring harder charges to the people who are not white

  14. Because says he has a higher chance of getting in bigger trouble and does not want to take the risk Jolu has a valid point because of millions of kids his color get in far worst trouble than another

  15. Jolu is scared his plan won't work and he will get caught because he is black. Yes its a valid point. It's also valid in todays world. Many people are suspects just because the way they look.

  16. Jolu is scared to help Marcus because he is more likely to get blammed for what they do because of his race. In there society people say they are'nt racist like we do in ours, but we must realize there are always people wanting to put the blame on someone else. Minorities are a good target.

  17. Jolu does not want to help markus because he has a higher chance of being arrested because he is black.
yes he would have a valid point in todays world because bad habits are hard to change.

  18. Marcus' whole plan was to try and take down DHS.
Jolu didnt want to be apart in the plan because he knew there was a big chance of them getting in more trouble by doing the things they were going to do or did. I think he would have a valid point in todays world because younger people are always the 1st to be blamed.

  19. Julu doesn't want to help Marcus because he believes that he stands a greater risk at getting arrested. this is because he isn't white. Yes he has a valid point because even in today's world we have discrimination and stereotypes against many minorities in our country.

  20. Because he thinks Marcus will get away with it because he is white. Yes because people were probably just as stereotypical then as they are now.
