In chapter 7 Marcus and Van have a disagreement -- who do you agree with? Van or Marcus? Why? Do both have valid points? If so, what are their points? Remember you can only pick one side -- not both. :)
I agree with Marcus because it is his best friend and no matter how much he says he is doing it for the community he really deep down is doing it for Darryl. My reasoning for agreeing with him is because i would do the same for my best friend.I believe they both have valid points. Marcus wants to get his best friend back and get his old community back. Van's point is he would make it harder for people and things would be a disaster.
I agree with Marcus, because he is the only one who cares about the safty of Darryl. They both have a good point. Marcus wants to save his friend, but Van is thinking about everyone else who he is getting caught up in the mess to finding out if Darryl is even alive.
I agree with Van. Marcus does not need to be getting all of his friends in trouble, especially when he is not even sure he can undermine the government. They do both have valid points, though. Van does not want more trouble to come, she is right when she knows that it's going to be difficult to get revenge on the government. But Marcus is right when he is just trying to get back at them for Darryl.
I agree with Van but they both do have valid points. Van has already an idea to what the government can do if you mess with them. Her family is a runaway because they came to America for a fresh new start and her old country's gov't treated them badly. She doesn't want to participate in Marcus' rebel plan against DHS because she doesn't want to get caught. I wouldn't want to put myself in a bad situation either.
Van thinks that Marcus should not try and bring down the DHS. She wants no part in it. I agree with Van, to just go along with what the goverment is doing and not try to from this band of people on the XNET. Both have valid points, Marcus wanting to protect the bill of rights and Van wanting to not get in trouble.
In chapter 7 Marcus and Van have a disagreemet over getting even with the DHS. In this case I would have to agree with Marcus because im the type of person that if you do something to me I will get you back. Also I believe that sometimes you have to do whats wrong, like getting even with the government, for the best.
Both have valid points which are in Van case sometimes it is best not to fight and wait out the trouble. But on the other hand Marcus knows that the government is wrong so he tries to make it right.
I agree with Van because Marcus is putting everyone in danger. But When marcus says "maybe it has to get worse before it gets better." he makes a valid point.
marcus want to back up the whole city and van doesnt like that i think van has the most valid point because she knows more about fighting the goverment out of the two of them
i agree with marcus. hes right dhs toke them for no reason and they toke darryl. marcus's points are valid hes right the way DHS treated them its their right to wage a war.
I agree with Van. She does have the point of getting caught and risking all these innocent lives of people who had nothing to do with the situation with the DHS. She feels thus way because her patents are immigrants from Korea and she doesn't want them to get killed nor sent back. They both have valid points because sometimes things really do have to get worse before they can better in Marcus's view. Vans point is that you shouldn't have to drag everyone down with you while Marcus's pint is that it can be easier in a bigger number i agree with Van for logical safety reasons , I'd feel the same way if I was her and my parents were immigrants and that could be putting my whole family at risk .
I would have to side with Van on this one. She makes a great point when she decides to not fight the DHS while Marcus wants to fight back and rebel. They both have valid points. Van was to just go on and live her life as if nothing has happened, but Marcus know that what the DHS is doing is wrong and he wants to take a stand and fight the DHS, and regain his freedom back.
Van is logical! Its and ignorant move to her because she thinks about how she had be putting her parents lives in harm.Van thinks you shouldn't have to take down innocent people to fix their problem. While on the other hand Marcus thinks that things get worse before they get better and that in a large group of people he can have more power withing.
I agree with Van. Marcus is going to get all his friends in trouble and possibly go back to jail. They both have valid points. Van does not want to get in more trouble. But Marcus is trying to get back at them for what they did to Darryl.
Van has a better point than Marcus because she believes that you can not beat the DHS and I agree with her because what he trying to do is basically beat the government and thats just about impossible
I agree with Van, because she has a good point. In saying that marcus is just gonna get himself and other in trouble. But marcus is being selfish and is just worried about getting revenge on the DHS.
I agree with marcus. Because Marcus doesn't want the government and DHS to take over. Yes, they both have valid points. Marcus wants to fix things to make everything go back to normal. Van doesn't want to get caught and thrown in jail.
I would side with Van. She makes a good point about how If they get caugh all the innocent people would also get in trouble even though they had nothing to do with the DHS. Van doesn't just think about what can happen to her, she thinks about how her actions can effect her friends and family.
I think they both have valid points, but im leaning more twords marcus. Because van dosent want to put other people in danger, but its really them who is putting thenselves in danger. who decided to become part of the x-net who made the arphid cloner themselves and who decided to go out and actively fight the govrnment.
I agree with Van, because Marcus is just going to get into deeper trouble with the DHS if they get caught. Marcus wants to take them down for what they did to him and his friends but I dont think its a hood idea and I would be thinking the same way as Van.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Van. Yes, she thinks Marcus is stupid for trying to get revenge and feels like he is trying to get himself killed by doing so.
